Chelsey Hogan Presents Research at Annual Psychology Convention

Chelsey Hogan, a senior from Spring Lake, New Jersey, was one of seven University of Dallas psychology students to recently present research at the 63rd annual convention of the Southwestern Psychological Association (SWPA).

Hogan's research, "Investigating Sex and Gender Role in Relation to Creativity," examined the relationship between creativity and one's biological sex. .

"The commitment of these students to unearth original psychological research exemplifies the fine work of UD's Psychology Department, which has the highest standards of student scholarship and professionalism," said University of Dallas Associate Professor of Psychology Gilbert Garza.

The annual convention, which serves the greater psychological community by providing access to scientific advances and professional development, received more than 570 submissions this year and was held March 31-April 2 in San Antonio.
