Garrett Gustafson Competes in Student Managed Investment Fund Competition

Garrett Gustafson, a University of Dallas senior from Sour Lake, Texas, competed in the finals of the Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) Competition. Gustafson and four other students represented the University of Dallas. Teams from 41 schools competed in the first round and were evaluated on portfolio management. The University of Dallas team, in its first appearance at the competition, was one of only five teams to reach the finals.

The fund is managed by graduate and undergraduate students, who are responsible for all investment research and reporting.
