The University of Dallas Track and Field Programs recently garnered All-Academic Team honors for the 2017-18 NCAA Division III seasons by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Among nearly 300 teams honored, the University of Dallas men's team boasted a cumulative team GPA of 3.17 and the women's team 3.12.

University of Dallas men's soccer player Trae Hampton was recently named the university's Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the third straight academic year. Hampton is the third student-athlete since the award's inception in 1984 to receive the accolade all three eligible years. The Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award is given annually to the letter-winning varsity student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA.

University of Dallas freshman forward Spencer Levi was recently named National Rookie of the Year by D3hoops.com (National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III). This is the 21st year the organization has selected and published its annual All-American Team. The announcement came in Salem, Virginia, as part of the pregame show for the 2018 men's basketball National Championship. Levi placed on the second All-American Team and earned his accolade, Rookie of the Year, for the South Region.

Eight University of Dallas student-athletes were recently named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National All-Academic Teams. Student-athletes to earn the accolade include players in men's soccer, women's soccer, volleyball, men's cross country and women's cross country.

University of Dallas men's soccer players Sean Carlin and Nat Kajiwara recently earned their placement among the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) All-American and End of the Year Award Winners.

University of Dallas men's soccer players Eric Haigh and Nat Kajiwara were named to the United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-West Region Team.

Four student-athletes on the University of Dallas women's lacrosse team were named to the Independent Women's Lacrosse Schools (IWLS) All-Academic team for the 2017 season. In order to qualify, students must carry a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 for the 2016-17 academic year.

Nat Kajiwara, a freshman forward for the University of Dallas men's soccer team, impressed his teammates and coaches in the first match of his collegiate career, scoring both goals for the Crusaders in a 2-1 overtime victory against George Fox University on Sept. 1.

The University of Dallas men's soccer team defeated the nationally ranked No. 4 Trinity University in San Antonio on Sept. 15. The overtime game-winner was the first-ever Crusader victory on the road against Trinity.

Trae Hampton, a rising senior on the University of Dallas men's soccer team, earned the Scholar-Athlete Award for the 2016-17 academic year. This is the second straight year Hampton has received the honor. The award is handed out annually to the letter-winning varsity student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average.

Five student-athletes from the University of Dallas men's basketball team were named to the 2016-17 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court. These students were recognized for excelling academics during the past season.

Jessie Koster, a 2017 graduate and four-year letter winner with the University of Dallas volleyball team, was nominated for National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Woman of the Year. Koster was among 197 female student-athletes to be nominated in NCAA Division III, and among 544 candidates in all NCAA divisions.

Last semester, the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) named eight University of Dallas soccer, volleyball and cross country student-athletes to the National All-Academic Teams for maintaining a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher.

The UDallas Crusaders competed in the East Texas Prairie Dog Time Trials in Tyler, Texas, this season. The women's track team broke the school's record for the Women's Distance Medley Relay (DMR) with a time of 13 minutes and 39.06 seconds.

The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll in early February for the 2015 fall term, and 439 student-athletes made the list. Thirty-eight members of University of Dallas fall athletic teams were included on this list. Athletes named are participants on the UD men's cross country, men's soccer, women's soccer or volleyball teams. Since the inception of the SCAC Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll in the fall of 1997, over 23,500 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom. To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term.

Twenty University of Dallas students participated in the Cross Country Team for the Fall 2015 season.

Twenty-six University of Dallas students played for the women's soccer team during the Fall 2015 season.

Twenty-seven University of Dallas students played for the men's soccer team during the Fall 2015 season.

Fourteen University of Dallas students played for the volleyball team during the Fall 2015 season.

More than 40 University of Dallas student-athletes were named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference's Honor Roll.
