The University of Dallas Department of Biology has recognized two students with its Warren and Anne Marie Pulich Scholarship, an award established in honor of Professor Emeritus Warren M. Pulich, a leading ornithologist and one of the first faculty of the University of Dallas, and his wife Anne Marie. The award is given each year to outstanding students in the sciences or mathematics based upon scholastic achievement. Those students are:

Two local University of Dallas students recently participated in the American Collegiate Moot Court Association (ACMA) South Texas Regional competition at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where their team finished fourth of 18 teams.

The University of Dallas Department of Education has recognized the following student with its 2012 Teller Award, an award established by alumni and faculty in honor of Professor Emeritus James D. Teller. The award is given each year to an outstanding student based upon scholastic achievement, leadership ability and potential as a teacher.

The following local students served on the organizing committee of Charity Week, a week long annual tradition at the University of Dallas that has benefited a variety of national, regional and local charities. This year's event raised nearly $20,000 for two Dallas organizations: White Rose Women's Center and Catholic Charities of Dallas Elderly and Family Services.
