The University of Dallas proudly recognizes the seniors who presented at the Fifth Annual Philosophy Senior Conference in March 2016.

The UDallas Crusaders competed in the East Texas Prairie Dog Time Trials in Tyler, Texas, this season. The women's track team broke the school's record for the Women's Distance Medley Relay (DMR) with a time of 13 minutes and 39.06 seconds.

The University of Dallas proudly recognizes 59 students who served as Orientation Leaders in fall 2015.

Seven English majors from the University of Dallas will be attending the Sigma Tau Delta 2016 International Convention in Minneapolis. The six seniors and one junior attending are members of the Sigma Tau Delta Honor Society, and they all submitted works that were accepted for presentation at the conference March 2-5.

Four University of Dallas students were awarded the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy scholarship.

The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll in early February for the 2015 fall term, and 439 student-athletes made the list. Thirty-eight members of University of Dallas fall athletic teams were included on this list. Athletes named are participants on the UD men's cross country, men's soccer, women's soccer or volleyball teams. Since the inception of the SCAC Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll in the fall of 1997, over 23,500 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom. To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term.

Twenty University of Dallas students participated in the Cross Country Team for the Fall 2015 season.

Twenty-six University of Dallas students played for the women's soccer team during the Fall 2015 season.

Twenty-seven University of Dallas students played for the men's soccer team during the Fall 2015 season.

Fourteen University of Dallas students played for the volleyball team during the Fall 2015 season.

Thirty-eight University of Dallas juniors recently presented their 'Junior Poet' projects. These presentations are the culmination of intensive research and writing on the work of a major English-language poet, and are required of all English majors in order to satisfy degree requirements, though students from other majors choose to take the course as well.

Three University of Dallas seniors will present their senior drama studios. The performances will run from Nov. 19-21.

Twenty University of Dallas students participated in an Impromptu Speech Competition held during their Communication in Business class from Oct. 20-27. The competition is held every semester by Assistant Professor of Business Robert Yale.

Seventeen University of Dallas students will present Friedrich Schiller's "Mary Stuart" in a new version by Peter Oswald. The play, directed by Associate Professor of Drama Kyle Lemieux, will run from Oct. 28-Nov. 7.

Twelve University of Dallas students are volunteering as members of the Student Programming at UD (SPUD) Board for the 2015-2016 school year.
